F/S or trade - 1971 Chevy El Camino (406ci, 510hp) in So Cal

Engine: 400 small block (bored .030 to 406 cu in), full Scat rotating assy including 5.7 rods and forged pistons, AFR (Air Flow Research) #1038 aluminum heads (angle plug, 195cc intake runners, 64cc exhaust runners, 75cc combustion chambers, dual valve springs, 2.05 intake/1.6 exhaust valves), Comp Cams Xtreme Energy 284H cam (.507/.510 lift, 284/296 duration, 240/246 duration @ .050), roller rockers, "quiet" gear drive, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Quick Fuel "Race" 750 double-pumper carb, full MSD ignition including billet distributor and 6AL box, headers feed into 3" exhaust and Flowmaster mufflers, new SFI-approved flywheel, new starter . . . engine builder estimated 510 HP, engine has approx 2000 miles

Transmission: Turbo 400 with mild shift kit, also has approx 2000 miles

Rear end: 12-bolt non-posi with 2.73 gears . . .

Suspension: Rebuilt front suspension, power disc brakes, power steering, Hotchkis springs front & rear, front & rear sway bars (both 15/16" diameter)

Body: 3-week-old paint (2009 Pontiac Liquid Red with black SS stripes), Tuff-Skin coated bed, new bed mldgs, new drip-rail mldgs, new windshield mldgs, new steel cowl-induction hood with new hood/fender mldgs, new grille and grille mldgs

Wheels: 15x8 and 15x5 Weld Drag-lites with new 255/60 & 215/60 tires

Interior: Black velour/vinyl bench seat, column shift, LeCarra billet/leather wheel, CD stereo with iPod hook-up, Sun tach, water temp & oil pressure gauges

In exactly this trim, car has run 12.88 @ 111 mph .... easily a low-12 / high-11 second car with posi, some gear & sticky tires

This car needs only minor work to be considered "finished" .... most of which are cosmetic. All the "heavy-lifting" is done, and as can be seen by the specs, it has all the best parts in it.

Job loss has forced the sale of my daily driver (2010 Camaro SS), so I am selling this car in order to purchase another vehicle to use as a daily driver

Clean CA title .... tags paid thru next year .... located in Long Beach, CA

Asking $13,500 OBO

Will consider a trade for a nice daily driver ... these are the kinds of vehicles I would consider trading for ...
- C5 Corvette (prefer auto)
- 2004-2006 GTO (prefer auto)
- Hemi Charger / 300C / Magnum
- 2003-up Silverado / Sierra 1500 (extended or crew cab, prefer lowered)
- 1998-2002 Z28 or Trans Am conv (prefer auto)
- V8 RWD luxury sedan (Q45/M45, LS430, 540i/740i, etc)

Gregg @ 562 / 230 - 3966 or PM here ...

Thanks for looking ....
