Lowering springs

Was just about to order BMR 1.25 lowering springs, but have a concern. I've heard of people having problems reconnecting the lower control back up to the strut. Any advice is welcome

Just takes some muscle and a little bit of thinking about it. If you have mechanical aptitude, you shouldn't have a problem.

Also be sure you have the entire rear of the car in the air and don't try to do one side at a time. I think most of the time the sway bar is what's preventing people from getting things back into place.

Best regards,

Tyler

Just did the 1.25" BMR on my '13 SS. Love the stance! Absolutely the perfect drop. Alignment and bushings are coming this weekend.

I didn't have any issues with install other than 1 spring that I screwed up. Just took me an extra 20 min to fix once all was done.

I went with the BMR 1.25" and did it myself in my driveway. I used a jack as tmick5jr mentioned to get the rears to fit when putting it back together, not hard, just a pita... make sure you have all the sockets and wrenches needed before taking it apart, a few large sizes that aren't in most common sets are needed plus some torx bits as well.
