Has there been any documented increases in performance or is this mainly for sound/"driver experience"?

We did some testing on a 100% stock ZL1 with nothing but the Roto-Fab intake installed and made a solid 31hp over stock. Mind you, this test was done with the hood up, but I have no doubt that complimented with the Big Gulp; you would see those gains at speed.

Here is the dyno graph:

Just got mine installed and went for a spin. Love that whine.

Big thanks to JDP Motorsports for a hassle free transaction.

Are tunes necessary with the CAIs on the ZL1?

Actually I think one of them being sold does require a tune. I know the Roto Fab and the K & N don't. Can anyone help me out with the one or ones that require a tune?

The Airaid ZL1 intake is the one that requires a tune.

Well I finally got around to installing a Roto Fab CAI in my ZL1. It took me a couple of hours to install. I am sure that other people could have put it in much faster. I am going to an Open House at Torq this weekend and will put it on their dyno to see what she actually pulls.
