You can't directly massage our VE tables, it's a virtual calc thing. There is software for calculating the 4 or 5 dimensions needed. Never tried. You can upgrade the ECU OS to a special one with a real VE table if you desire for another 2 or 3 credits.
I plugged in the ID850 data and tuned the MAF. Stock internals.

I guess you could accomplish the same thing by factoring the data yourself. Maybe that's what you mean when you say it's a virtual calc thing.

HPTuners hands-down... The interface is better IMO, but the SCT interface is also nice. However, with SCT you'll need to purchase their custom tuning software (If you want to go further than the small things that a handheld can change) + the handheld, rather than with HPT you are in when you just buy the suite (No handheld required).
We are an HPTuners reseller with an awesome sale going on now that includes a free custom tune. So you can compare off of what I changed from your factory file, to the custom file, and see what changes have been made to start learning. |

Thanks Bill, as always.
I'll upgrade someday, just haven't popped for more credits yet. I figured when I go with a cam I'll need to. The temp settings for the fan would be a big plus also. Lowest stock turn on point is 192*f iirc.

I was wondering if you left your tune unlocked so I could use it as a reference agains the stock tune. Good to know.

MATT@FSP hooked me up too with Pro Suite so I could log my A/F meter readings also. BTW, MATT your inbox is full on here and will not accept any more mail. It gave me the message when I tried to send my Email address to you.

well ALL I can say is WOW, two things. One I have a vararam and watching those IAT's rising is NO JOKE, luckily they go down very quickly with little movement and I cant wait to see how my cousins L99 does with his CAI, now im not starting a CAI debate so don't start with that, all Im saying is Im curious, Im no tuner just starting. Two MATT at FSP was emailing me back and forth SATURDAY NIGHT! at 10:30 Central time, what a guy commited to Customer service, I was impressed to say the least. Thanks MATT and BIRM you guys go above and beyond in my book!

I installed TSP 2" long tubes on my cousins car today, I deleted all the DTC codes related to the rear 02's, I deleted the damn AFM/ DOD peramiters, I tweaked his mafs tables a lil, tweaked his TQ management some all by my self today. I uploaded his new tune and went for some data logging. No check engine lights and AFM never kicked in lol. I think I did ok lol. Man was I sweating up a storm. I was nervous lol
