ARK PERFORMANCE INC: L99 True Dual Exhaust System Prototype Video

Just got everything finalized here. We are in the process of finishing the Video we made.

Video will include
- Multiple Passes on different RPM range
- Undershot of the full system installed
- Decibel Test

This is 1 of 2 exhaust system for the L99 Camaro SS. The type 2 will be louder. When we were designing our type 1 exhaust, We wanted to make an exhaust that is quiet (not Stock Quiet) however retaining the gains as if it were a true free flowing exhaust system. This is a plus for Owners that live in police dense communities.

All comments and opinions are welcome.

TEAM ARK

ENJOY

just updated. I think you have to wait a couple minutes for Youtube to upload to full video onto their server.

7 minute video... Enjoy

Agreed that ya’ll hit your goal of being just a little louder than stock. For someone wanting a system like that you should have the ticket. Not my kind of system though.

A few things:
1. Your video says 3.5” tips….are you sure? They look like 4” or 4.5” to me but I’m no expert.

2. My personal opinion you should slash cut your tips so they follow the angle of the diffuser. Pretty much everyone else does that. Which I guess may be why you didn’t.

3. You should do a before/after dyno run so you can prove that there are gains to be made with the system. To me you’ve got a lot of resonators and stuff going on. Not sure you’ll see a whole lot of rwhp gain. Again….just guessing.

4. Are you going to do anything for the LS3?

5. How much is the system?

My bad 4.5 ". One of the first times we had to make such big tips to make these flush with the rear valence.

2. My personal opinion you should slash cut your tips so they follow the angle of the diffuser. Pretty much everyone else does that. Which I guess may be why you didn’t.
The type 2 will be slash cut, we already have this in mind.

Just like the video made, our dynos will be as detailed. Just with a better camera.

4. Are you going to do anything for the LS3?
LS3 is our next project after we complete the L99

5. How much is the system?
Pricing is not finalized until we get the final prototype done and ready for production. The prototypes only get the OK for production once we are satisfied with the gains produced by each unit.

If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Note: our resonators never taper down, Its a true 2.5 throughout.

You might also want to correct the spelling from Camero to Camaro as seen at 1:38-1:50 in your YouTube above
