27 years ago, Space Shuttle Atlantis lifted off from Launch Complex 39A to begin her maiden voyage.

Do you know what kind of space stuff they have on display there?

It's not as hard to pronounce as you'd think. You can call it what most people do.. The National Air and Space Museum.

It's part of the Smithsonian Institution, and it has some of the best artifacts there including; Space Shuttle Discovery (the most used spacecraft ever), the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird (the fastest jet ever built), the manned maneuvering unit used for the first-ever untethered spacewalk, the Apollo 11 Command Module, and a ton more.

Oh cool!! Yeah, I saw it was WAY over yonder as well. It might be a while before we travel that far with the boys.

WTH?!?! I thought you were my friend Jordy and I even helped you out this a.m. and you do that to me.

Yeah, that's about it. Explains why it's only $0.50 for admission. Well, they are 4 & 5 yr olds, can't take them to the Alamo one. Though he has been to that one.

Yeah I went there when I was real young. It was the first time I ever saw a Space Shuttle. It was Space Shuttle Enterprise, which was replaced with Space Shuttle Discovery.

Hey! I figured you knew how to handle the kid better than me with all your experience!!

Yeah, that museum's artifacts are nothing special. Most of them you can buy yourself .
