It was not. The 2.8/3.1/3.4 60* v6's were called, among other things, the "milkshake motors" because they'd make a chocolate milkshake out of your coolant and oil. I'm glad you had good luck with yours but the 2.8 especially doesn't have a good reputation. That being said however, I had an '84 Firebird with a carbed 2.8 that I babied and was good to me while I owned it for the 3 years I did. No problems personally.

As ubiquitous as they were I suppose it was a decent block. (edit)

Heh.

Though, I do love the way you pulled off that fascia. Any word on the total cost to have the mailslot filled?

Here's our shop's (Defenderworx) V6. (Ignore the RS Badges, is not an RS just a item we sell that we were trying on the car). A V6 can be just as sexy as an SS!!!

I believe the V6 Camaro is changing the view of a V6. I don't think you guys will hear "You shoulda' gotta V8" as often as people have in the past.

Truthfully, I always talk up the V6 model more than the V8 whenever someone wants to talk to me about the car. The reason I do it is simple - it's by far the more impressive package in it's market segment. When I compare it to the 3 series BMW (M3 excluded), it's an absolute no brainer.

Great looks, drives like a 5 series BMW, power of a V8 and good gas mileage at a really good price.

I dunno, they still say it often enough to be frackin' annoying.
DWx - Thats a nice looking V6. Not digging the wheels, but there are a number of your products you've gotten my intrigued about.

Keep up the good work!

That Grill is one of the four different Grills that my company Defenderworx makes. Heres a link to a thread about our Grills.
