Mark up!

How many of you have gone to look at the new Camaro and find the dealer has mark up the sticker and add a market demand add on. Went by the dealership in Myrtle Beach, they had added $3000.00 to the msrp.

Tell em to keep it. Maybe they need to read the paper more and learn about the state of their company.

Went to the local dealer here in Utah and they have a v6 on the lot that they are adding a 'market demand' markup of 5000

To their credit, they said that if you ordered a new Camaro (one that isn't on their lot ready to go already) they don't charge any extra markup and you would only pay the msrp.

Over $10,000 markup on a V6 Camaro at a dealer in South Florida in Homestead.. $42,000 for a 2LT/RS with ground effects... The salesman they have 6 pre-orders that have sold for $10,000 over.. Crazy aint it???
