Here's my wife's 2010 2LT with SLP loudmouth 1 axle back. It sounds good but the drone is ridiculous. I'm thinking about either switching to the MRT V2 axle back or just adding a resonated x-pipe. Has here anyone done either? http://youtu.be/Nk1oeRedft4

I have a 2011 LS with shorty headers, CAI, Resonated X-Pipe and muffler delete.

I have custom bent 2.5" pipe from the catback. No stock resonators, no mufflers. Put in a resonated x-pipe up near the cats and I still get some drone. Its not bad and My gf and I can still talk while at highway speeds, but the setup is loud outside lol

Its an old video but here is what it sounded like last year.

I got my solo performance exhaust installed a couple days ago and it really sounds good. I was expecting some more throttle response but this exhaust blew past my expectations. The stock exhaust seemed to bog down at low RPM which I didn't notice until my solo was installed. Great price for a really sweet exhaust.

Okay, I feel a bit overwhelmed. I have a 2010 Camaro RS and I want to put a long tube header system on the car. What I don't get is if I also get an x-pipe do I also need a muffler system? When I start adding that all up I am into about $2500. Just trying to figure this all out is all.

OBX headers for under $500. New Gaskets and bolts for under $60. Magnaflow resonated X pipe for under $125. Delete mufflers free.

Install with friends. pricelss.

Total cost under $700. not counting beer and pizza.

Recently just bought a 2015 LS which has flow master super 40's on it and the drone is nearly unbearable. I have been looking into the Borla Pro XS since I've heard those are quiet. Recently though I've seen a lot of talk about the Magnaflow resonated X-pipe, my question is would that knock out the drone or just tame it a bit ? Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I need help finding a good exhaust system for my 2LT 2015 RS. There's a lot to choose from. I'm leaning towards Borla S Type Catback Exhaust because the sound is sexy and it also adds hp. What's your take on it and what other ones would you recommend
