Andy do they start with a GMPP LS7 block & then build from there is that how you get the price of the full engine installed for less than a LS7 from GMPP? & if so is there a way to get it build with say a custom intake manifold, throttle body, cam & heads? I am sitting here in Iraq attempting to plan out a beast of a na daily driver I would really like to take the Camaro to the limits of streetabilty & daily driving my commute to work is only 13 miles & almost all highway/freeway so not much of an issue about sitting in traffic thank god...

We use a new LS7 Block and all forged internals. The one priced at 15k is utilizing your ls3 Heads and intake, with porting, valve train upgrades of course.

Fast has a new 102 mm intake coming soon..this would be an option!

That was the intake & throttle body I had in mind... what about CNC Ported LS7 heads? What kind of price would we be looking at then?

Add $3000 to the original price.

Really not worth the money for what the difference in the curve is.

I don't want to be "that guy" but aren't guys getting close to that with LS3s. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Not near that torque or hp NA.

528 RWHP was with stock airbox and filter.

We gained 30 rwhp with our Intake and filter set-up.

Kinda old post - The results are in on our prototype true cold air intake on a 427 (Race version-No washer bottle)

After several weeks of testing on the street we decided to run the car today for the first time on the dyno..The results were staggering to say the least

I tried to keep the air-fuel the same as what the stock airbox and filter(thats right -dyno number 23 was stock airbox and filter, posted over a month ago) setup gave us to make it fair. Our shop is air conditioned so the temps are always 72-75 degrees with the same humidity almost everyday.

Dyno comparison in SAE -

EDITED WITH DATA FOR STOCK SS:

Here is some new data regarding the ADM Perf cold air on a totally stock 2SS Man. Basically the car picked up a peak of plus 18 HP and plus 18 TQ. The dyno graph #1 baseline is totally stock. Runs #2 and #3 are with the cold air. All three runs were on factory tune. This cold air retains the factory wiper reservoir in the factory location which is slightly different than the one installed on Andy's LS-7 that has it removed. He has a couple more tweeks to do to his CAI box as the one installed today is a prototype. Andy took pics and said he will uplink them later today for all to see.
