I Need Your Opinion! - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Ok so this coming Friday I am getting some stripes put on my car. The car is CGM and i am torn between two choices. Either Red stripes with Black/red powdercoated rims OR Black Stripes with black powdercoated rims. I am going for an aggressive look that still attracts some attention. The stripe style i'm going with is the new Transformers 3 bumblebee stripes.

What do you guys think? Red or Black. Is red and gray gonna mesh well? Or should i just go with that black/gray aggressive look? Thanks!

Flat black stripes and flat black rims , oh and this is just not my opinion , that's an order !!!! Sorry just notice that you only ask for a opinion !

I don't think it's aggressive enough. Let me add that the theme for my car is Decepticon. So i want it to look mean.

And the real question is does Red mesh well with gray? I know red and black is sweet but CGM?

Red looks great with CGM. Painted red stripes in my opinion.

Haha This is exactly what happened when i asked my friends. It's usually a split right down the middle. Half say red half say black! I know it's ultimatly up to me but MAN its such a hard decision!

Too many CGM w/ black out there... be different....go with a blood red stripe package.

Hmmm man you guys are making me lean back towards red. The shade of red really is the biggest factor. What color red do you think would work best? Like I need a picture or something

Red is definitly unique and you can do a whole lot more with the car in terms of the contrast with red (rims,lights, etc).

If you want it sinister, however, it's all about the dark colors. Therefore, red is still an option, but like you said it's all about the shading.
