Anyone use aerosol spray-on sound deadener?
I am going to replace the rear 6X9's in my non-BA system and am thinking about using spray-on sound deadener to prevent rattles in the rear deck.

Deadener is just that- used to damp resonance in a panel, or deaden it (make it more acoustically inert). It CAN and sometimes does stop rattles, but that's not the intended purpose. Not saying don't do it, just saying be aware you may still have some rattles when you're done. Sometimes you have to play individual tones, then find the two things that are hitting each other, and then figure out a way to make them stop. It can be fun.
