lol! I'm sure I'll run into you again...but for now my take on CAIs are to get what you like the look of best. Different companies boast different numbers, but when Janetty Racing posted a third-party test, it showed that the hp gains were relatively similar. I'm between the CAI, cold air intake and the Vararam. The vararam (recent model not the first one) has had great reviews, but I've heard it still needs a tune (even with the no tune model) to get it at peak efficiency.
When it comes to CAIs they're not the miracle answer to more horsepower. Yes they do add some, but it's truly all about the headers and internal engine work, (forced induction helps a bit too). So my advice? Go for the CAI that matches your color scheme best...I think Volant has a pretty cool air box and of course CAI with the black tubes and box look sweet.

The Boston Acoustics system is fine for me, but I'm not much of an audio guy. I usually have my windows down listening to my exhaust anyways

And the OnStar app is great! It prompts you with your special OnStar code to use, and it's a great way to get diagnostics on your car immediately. (Basics of course, nothing too fancy)

Hope that helps!

Yes it does.

I was curious about the K&N and wanted to see if anyone around Jax has one. Looking around on the forums, the opinions are kind of mixed, considering that people have said that the top of the heat shield digs into the hood matting.

As far as the OnStar app, that's really cool - I've also heard they send you monthly status reports on your car - Is it worth the money to have onstar though.. Do they give a year free now?

And by the way - does anyone know of a good paint shop around town that could do my engine cover for relatively cheap? I'm just looking to get it trimmed with the synergy green.

I am home for the time being but the trip to the drag racing museum sounds like a lot of fun. I really want the Borla ATAK exhaust and was wondering if anyone recommends anyone in the area? Let me know!

I spent yesterday at Gainesville huffing Nitro. It was a great day. Anybody else there?

Got to get my car down there soon to see what it really will do.

stop by 1401 wheels road, 32218 and show me what you want done.
I just did some green wheels, so I got the synergy green paint on hand and ready to spray.

Thanks Irish! I head from Sick though that the ATAK exhaust doesn't really sound that well. Do you know anyone who has it so I can hear it?
