Got a 2015ss and feels slower than my 2010ss

I still have my 2010 ss, I didn't trade it. Both automatics. The 15 feels definitely slower, it has 1600 miles on it. Is there something in the computer till a certain mileage holding th HP down?

What "feels" and doesn't "feel" slower or faster....that's a whole lot of interpretation and guesswork. All you'll get is opinion, nobody can actually answer this.

How many miles did it have on it when you picked it up? Mine was a GM Black Friday Event deal, so it had 421 miles on it from being on the lot so long.

Do the fuse pull. I wasn't a believer either at first, but sure as anything the dealer put 87 gas in it. It makes a world of difference.

Run the gas almost out of it, fill it up with 93 or 91 and do the fuse pull.

Fuse box is on front right side, under the hood. Flip the top of the cover back, pull out the built in fuse puller (gray) on the bottom right corner, pull fuses #5 and #20, take them in the house and put them back in the morning. You WILL be happier!!

Here's a thread on the fuse pull topic. It has a how-to with lots of pics:
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38964

As for running out the cheap gas, instead of going through a few full tanks of 93 octane, I ran mine to almost empty, then put in about $5.00 worth of 93 and ran it to almost empty again. I did that twice, then filled up with 93. I figured that would wash all the 87 out a lot quicker since it takes me about 3 weeks to go through a full tank (I live super-close to work).

You can also just disconnect the battery instead of pulling fuses, but then the infotainment system gets set back to factory default and you have to reset all that.

Maybe GM secretly went more aggressive in the TQ management control on the '15's.

It's probably because the 15 drives much better than the 10, and the speed is less noticeable. I would bet if you were to line the two up, the 15 would be faster.

Maybe the 2015 caught a glimpse in a tailor's mirror and the taillights did a number on its ego. Any girl would give up and run slow if someone older than her had a more attractive rear end.

Just Kidding! Wanted to reminisce on some of the late 2013 posts

They slowed down the 14's and 15's so the Mustang guys can keep up.
