ok guys... i placed my order in on May 26th.. It will be 8wks this Tues. n still no word from the dealer.. just wondering how long did it take u till u got your 1st call..

i ordered mine from Classic in grapevine,tx

Give them a call and get your order number. Have them check the status right then and there. Should be pretty close!

Classic is reputable. I just email my salesman when I ask a question or he emails me to tell me status. I did get calls for test drive and to see camaros when they came in.

o yea i called the customer service #.. he told me there's no activity on it.. n to try back at the end of July...

but after Tues. if i dnt hear anything im a call the guy i ordered the car from n see whats going on..

If you have your order number just use our order tracking thread, the viz generally tracks orders very quickly, I check mine about twice a week.

Call your dealer and get a copy of the WORKBENCH # faxed to you. It will show your 6 digit order number and where you stand with G.M. That's if its not still in the sales mgrs desk waiting for an allocation.

you see i've tried that n when i click on the link it just brings up the page i was just on up over n over again.. i have my order number... so i can check it if i knew how.

Got my first yesterday. Informing me that my order was on hold b/c of the manual transmission issue. :(

I guess from what I have seen here that it is taking anywhere between 2 and 3 months from ordering? Is that a fair guess... I ordered my wife 2LT for here birthday (# 50) 3 July, Her birthday is 21 Sep. What are the chances it'll get here so I don't have to get a back up gift!!

It's a very very random process tunacan and all depends on each individual dealers allocation. In general they are making cars faster than the beginning and orders are moving faster but it is still possible to be stuck in a long line with no allocation.

Basically as soon as there is allocation for your order you move to 2000, then 3000 in a matter of days, then approx a month till time to build car and prior to that you will receive TPW, then once built assuming no delays it will ship And arrive within maybe 2 or 3 weeks depending on location. So for delivery by her bday you need it built near end of august.

Don't think I can out do the camaro for the birthday...may sub with a trip to FL....I'd rather give her the car...FL is nice but the 5th gen would be better....Thanks for the in site, ordering cars Suck...I'm 51 years old Military gear head, I hate waiting not knowing.
