ZL1 Front Nose Lights

Anyone know the part number or where to get some different bulbs to change these to HID's like the headlights? The mismatch looks awful to me when I see it at night.

there is a 24w HID kit out there that will supposedly not melt the housings but it is $200. I ordered some 5000k LED bulbs to try but they have not came in yet.

I can't see paying $200 for a 24w HID kit in a light that is just a daytime light basically.

I do hate the mismatch though.

the light is actually a psx26w but you are supposed to be able to make a p13w work I guess.

Oracle makes HOD lights that are a much brighter white than stock. Not sure how hot they burn. What other options are out there that won't melt the housing?

I purchased this set several months ago. The P13s are great for the driving lights but the H11 LEDs have very weak output. I sent the H11s back for a refund. The H11s are good for show but not for use as an actual fog light. I have since installed PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow in the fog light position they are yellow as fog lights should be.

Are the daytime lights the same bulb as the fog lights? Want to have all 3 of my lights the same color, bottom two are yellow.

no the fogs are H11's and daytime running light are a new bulb PSX26W which you probably won't find very easy.

The fogs you could just roll a 4300k hid kit in or get some bulbs that match close. I tried hoen 5000k halogen bulbs ($38 as opposed to $60-80 for the hid kit) they are not perfect but way closer

I am trying some V-led 5000k p13w's for the fogs ~$50.

you can modify the p13w really easy to fit in the housing but it fits a tad lose so you have to douple o-ring or zip tie or tape them in place.

I tried to go the cheap route ~$90 but the match is not going to be exact just 90% better than it was.

I am running these plasma p13 bulbs in my SS/RS DRLs. The plastic lenses haven't melted yet.

I am runnin the same bulbs in my fogs and I think they look pretty good. They are way better than the yellow stock bulbs anyhow
