my lt is stock.

the mazda has a muffler, lowered, lightweight wheels, possibly intake.

just curious as to who would win

Speed 3 will be a close race. had I been stock like you, I would have lost this race.

Speed3's are pretty quick from what I've read, but I think you'd smoke a regular Mazda.

my buddies wife has a stock 10 or 11 speed 3 and she actually beat his 09 wrx with only straight pipe at the time. now he has cobb intake, lowering springs, tune, new clutch, downpipe, and short throw on it's way. it's his DD and has it tuned to about 11-14 psi. that thing pulls. anyways....i've rode in the speed 3 but never wot so can't tell you but just a mazda 3 i don't see us losing

yeah. thats what i thought. i heard the speed3's were kinda quick. but its not a speed3. im sure its not tc either.

If it's not a Speed3, you should win pretty easily. The Speed3's can be pretty quick when modded, but I've heard those engines have alot of reliability issues.

I have an 05 mazda3 with suspension upgrades and I loved hauling a** through canyons and messing with other cars. When it comes to straight line speed, either the speed3 or regular 3 the car doesnt start to really pull until 2nd gear. The cars dont have as much torque, but once youare moving they can get up and go pretty well.
