Forget it I wanted the 1.25" drop. I can get 1" drop right now for $200, and I've heard you bottom out a lot with anything over 1.25".

Anything for the v6 crowd? Will the SS stuff fit as is? 1" drop would be perfect, with a few other goodies from the BMR website, I can see them ending up with a bit of my money if the stuff fits v6 cars.

I was looking forward to the 1.25" drop as well. I know it's only 1/4 inch, but...

I feel like the 1.4" drop will be too much for my needs.

This is interesting. I thought 1.25 would be a good compromise between looks and ride quality. But now it seems you're going with 1" (e.g. Eibach) or 1.4" (e.g. HRE).

What's the target ride quality difference ? Have you tested a pre-prod set to give your subjective opinion of both compared to stock ?

I never saw a bump-stop-cutting answer either. I've seen lots of people pro- and con- for cutting bump stops.

Ok guys, apparently everyone that calls us wants 1.4" and everyone on here wants 1.25" so we started a poll HERE and we will just go with what the majority chooses.

I have a set of bmr springs waiting to be installed in my v6. So, yes I was told they would fit, and give a drop of 1''. I hope to have them installed later next week sometime. I plan on posting after install.
I hope this helped.

I'd like an answer to the bump stop cutting question as well. BMR, do you recommend this for your 1" springs?

So what was the verdict? 1.4 or 1.25''? Also when should they be available?

No bump stop cutting necessary for the 1" springs.

I know a lot of you guys will be disappointed but we are going with the 1.4". We just get too many calls about the lower drop amounts to ignore them. We do record every request so if the numbers keep climbing, maybe we'll end up doing 3 versions, who knows. As of right now we will have 1" and 1.4" springs available. We will probably finalize the design in July and start production soon after. In the meantime I will try to keep this thread active with any new development.
