I have them and had a very good experience with them. yes, i heard there knock off kooks but there designed exactly the same and are half the price, i don't really care where there made. I highly recommend OBX. sorry if other people disagree with me.

probably decent but i know kooks and brandon @ maryland speed is giving some great deals .. i would not be surprised if there withing 2-300.00 of price of obx when all said and done..I KNOW, thats all i will say..so 1st get your total price with obx with hi flow cats and shipped..then get price with kooks and hi flow cats delivered compare price...good luck and due diligence , it will pay off..imo..

I have had my OBX headers in for like 6 or 7 months now. I have driven well over 7,000 miles with them on and I have not had a single issue. Check these videos.

For what it's worth, OBX makes a decent product. In all my years at the speed shop in Florida, I've only seen one set that cracked a weld at the collector - and that was mainly due to corrosion because the guy that owned it lived right next to the Gulf (salty air).
I'm not going to discuss "stolen designs" or allegations as to where they're made - I'm against forcing my morality onto others. They do make functional and affordable manifolds, but the ethics part of it is up to you. Vince |

thanks for the replies and the links fellers. i don't want this to get into a "you're buying knock offs!!!!" thread.
i don't care if they are copies of another product or not, i know there is no customer support and i don't care about that either, if i want support after i buy them i'll go to my local shop. I'm just interested in the opinions of those who have had experience with them. So far my only concern is that I live in Jersey so i'll have to deal with road salt so i'm worried about corrosion. Anyone who has these installed have to deal with road salt and have seen any corrosion? thanks again for the help guys. |

You should be able to have them coated but not sure. They are stainless so they wont rust.

I installed a set last week and have been very impressed with them. Fitment was great and they look very nice and well made. Going to East Texas Muscle Cars tomorrow to get a tune so we will see how they perform.

I just received my obx headers about 20 mins ago. Not installed yet of course but all I can say is that I wasn't expecting them to look so pretty lol. Welds look good and they look like a quality header. Once I get them installed I will chime in letting you know about fitment and ease of installation
