still don't like the rear at all. I don't care for the front much either. I wonder how much horsepower this new design will add, if any.

It gets the same exact V8 engine options, but those tail lights add about 25 hp.

Honestly, this refresh makes me sad more than anything. I soooo love my Camaro: more every time I drive it! I love romping on it (within limits: still breaking it in) and all the features. Top down lately has been a dream! And I love the way it looks from every angle. I will literally just pop my head into the garage to peer at the car's beauty. After spending years considering what my new car would be, it seems very rare for a car to be gorgeous from every vantage point. IMO, with the refresh, it's lost that advantage: both the front & the rear (especially) are now unappealing. Thankful that I've got a '13, and hoping that the 6th gen styling considers every angle, symmetry, etc and makes everyone forget the errors in the refresh.

I just showed my wife the 2014s and compared them to the 10-13s
... She said she likes the 2014s for herself because they look more "feminine". Particularly speaking of the rear lights and front end as a whole. ... I don't listen/take advise from my wife too much, but when I do she's usually right. And when she's right, it's usually bad news for me. ... I'm trying to decide if I should go with a 2013 or 14 model, and if I go with a 14, she'll definitely want to drive it. And anytime I drive it, I'm going to think about this post and how she said its "feminine" |

Like the 1LE, Not a fan of the halfway 'updated' ZL-1. Really glad I have a '13. This makes '13 the only year with great styling and Mylink

The 1LE looks fantastic. I never really liked SIM on the Camaro, but that looks great. I like the front, I like the rear (especially w/ that black spoiler)....I just don't really care for the side profile now - looks like the front dips too much.

ETA: I see you're in Detroit! I bought my car from Becky @ Rodgers & had it shipped out here. She was great to work with and gave us great pricing. We added the GM rockers painted & the GM diffuser: Becky & Maureen let us get pieces of the fx kit, and gave us an unbeatable price on parts & labor. (It was still cheaper to go through Becky & pay shipping than the local dealer we priced out.) Maybe you can call her up, get a can't pass up price for a '13, maybe even one on the lot, and get it ASAP. Last edited by H0peful1; 05-01-2013 at 12:49 PM. |

2014 got a Brazilian butt lift! Can anyone photo shop taillight covers and fronts as well?(make look like the current ones) I'm sure someone is already hard at work, coming up with taillight covers.

I always wondered if the current diffuser caught a lot of air(drag) especially when you remove the big canned exhaust. Maybe GM caught that too...as well as the front. Having said that...2010-2013 vs. 2014 refresh at the track, stock vs. stock. Are we going to see different times?
