You can guranfriggintee it that if the base v8 is going to be more than the GT, then the SS is going to be more than the GT500, so, about 42,500 plus an even larger markup considering the car hasn't been out for like 5 years.

uhh rednecks??? i beg to differ. just because the fact is that i think that the camaro should stay true to its roots. and just cause i live in western nebraska DOESN'T mean im a REDNECK.

and if it doesnt have a v-6 or v-8 it isnt a muscle car( in my book) its more a ricer than anything. and i kno that it isnt replacing any of the motors. im more of a old school minded person. and i was born in '92, so its kinda impossible for me to quit living in '78.

Get more what? independent rear suspension. The avarage buyer could care less. If you walked up to 80% of the Mustang owners you see and ask them what kind of axle they have they would not know. The reason i'm stuck on this car is the styling so I will pay the premium but the avrage buyer that they have to attract to sell 100,000 units is gonna care. That means more Mustangs sold and dissapointing sales for the Camaro.:(
