They rejected my personalized plate, "its very offensive" Seriously ???
So I did the online order form for my plate request of "MYSS1LE" thinking, wow I'm so cleaver, includes the car description and that its fast like a Missile. Hang on there Mister not so fast is the reply I get back, this could be very offensive to some people and it is very violent in nature. So I appeal the decision in writing (like they say I can do) with the explanation of my thoughts and again, nope sorry, it is "violent and pertains to criminal behaviour" So there you have it, god forbid you might offend somebody with a little play on words, this is very serious sh*t we are talking about !!
So I got a little creative again and came up with "SSMY1LE" still has the car description and now it should rain down happiness with a smile on all those who read it !!  This one is ok and will be the one I use. Come Ontario, are you serious, MYSS1LE ? I would understand if this was my car:

Wow, K1SSRSS went through with no problems here in NM.
I do like your creativity on both plates, but I think the SSMY1LE is the better of the two.

When i 1st started to read the thread, i knew it was because it looked and sounded like missle. Maybe if you didn't say in your explanation that its fast like a missle and just left it at my camaro SS is a 1LE = MYSS1LE.
But agreed that its a joke how far they take stuff.

I don't get the second one...it would be the same if the plate read "my car". Who else
would the car belong to?

That's pretty stupid they rejected that.
A friend of mine got OH HERRO as his license plate. He's also white. So borderline racism is acceptable but not an obviously harmless play on words for missile.
