Need your input on 22" TSW!!
Ok fellas I'm to put some new shoes on my girl! I have come down to 2 options. Im on a budget of 3k for a rim and tire package. I'm thinking of TSW Donningtons or TSW Jarama. I like the flat back look of the Donnington but part of me wants a lip on the rim. Jamaras have the lip I want but the black look they have for it is a shiny black, not digging that. So Iwas thinking of doing the silver Jaramas. My Camaro is Black with silver stripes, sorry but don't know all the short hand lingo you all use for colors and stripes! Keep in mind I'm getting 22"s and using a drop kit. Thinking of H&R or PFADT. Probably will go for H&R because of the reasonable price. Will I have a problem with the drop and running with 22"s? Help me out guys, I trust your wisdom!
First rim is the Donnington last two are the Jaramas. |

The shiny Jamara's look good to me. No problem lowering the car with 22's on it. It was designed with 21's and 22's originally. What width are you planning on running? Personally, I'm looking at some 22's that are 9" in front and 10.5" in back. They'll allow copious amounts of rear tire. A dropped Camaro on 22's is hard to beat. Just watch the potholes in the road!

Hyp has a thread showing off his Snettertons. TSW says they won't fit, but he runs them on his SS with no mods. TSW even referred me to his thread as proof they might fit even though they say they won't. They weigh 44 lbs each though........but I will get them when OEM tires are worn out.

I would do the doningtons and have a silver pinstripe painted on. $4000 for the wheels and pirelli tires with eibach lowering spring and labor.

I like that, I wonder if my girlfriend will let me have one of those!!
No problem with the drop, just run 30's all around.

Well I still cant decide guys, I want a lip but I also want flat back. I think I'm gonna go with the setup taylorryan has. Now does anybody know of any good vendors that will give me a great price? Im getting a quote of roughly 3200.00 at my local discount tire store. does that sound about right?
