The July issue of Motor Trend ripped the Camaro in tests. The SS came in 3rd behind the Mustang Gt and the Challenger SRT8

The V6 came in 3rd as well, but there were 4 cars tested. Hyundai Genesis 3.8 track was 1st, Mustang V6 2nd, Camaro RS 3rd and the Challenger SE brought up the rear.

I think the whole article was just to hype the new Mustangs. They tested the 2011 Mustangs against the other cars 2010 models.

They ripped on the shape, weight and the ride, I think it looks fantastic, rides excellent and the ride is what I had hoped for. I don't care what they say, the Camaro is my car of choice.

We get it Motrotrend does not like the look and size of the camaro, lucky for Chevy their opinion does not reflect the masses opinion on looks or ride.

Motor trend is all about the money, for enough of it any car is best. The camaro is so much smoother than the mustang.

I feel better. I'm used to living in a world where the media hates on GM. All this love we were getting was confusing....

Motor Trend loves Mustangs and BMWs. What you have to remember is the 2-5 people who are putting these cars to the tests are guys just like us who have their own personal opinion of what they like and not. It is their opinion, period. 1 year, they praise the newest entrant and say it is the best and then the following year, they bash it and place is last. That is just the way it is. Enjoy what you have and who cares what those pencil pushers think.

Last year the Camaro was the darling of the press, now it's the "new" Mustang. These freaking magazines always put the lastest car above the "older" ones. To read these articles, by the time a car reaches it 3rd model year it's as out of date as a music cassette..........unless it's a BMW.

With over 100 thousand Camaros sold in 2010, I wouldn't worry about "Motor Trend's" opinion of the car. The people have spoken. Motor Trend can't see with blinders on...

The Motor Trend journalists write like they are still in High school, IMO. Mustangs make me throw up in my mouth...don't know why they just never ever have done it for me. I like the new Challenger though.

I get strangers coming up taking pictures of my car. The other day a lady stopped next to at a red light, only she had no cars in front of her in her lane for 50 feet. She took a few pics of the car and said these are for my Dad, thanks. I just laughed. For a car that isnt very stylish it sure does get a lot of attention.
