Upstate/Downstate NY and Watkins Glen

If you folks are "SERIOUS" about Watkins Glen.....I belong to a couple of groups that "may" help you out with a track day or two.

Please understand, this is a no bullchit deal, people and cars can and sometimes do get hurt.

Cost is not cheap......usually a 2 day event is $400-450.00.

Please also remember, you will be INSTRUCTED @ all times, meaning you have a passenger who is trying to show you the track.

Let me know......e-mail is best

There is an opening day event that happens the last weekend in April. It is a "paced" 3 lap cruise but still fun to do. They take you around the entire track, not the Nascar shortened version.
I have done it twice in my bucket of bolts. It only costs $25. Part of the fun is the cruise down and back with lunch after the event. A few guys I work with are planning on going. I know it's not racing but a lot cheaper.

Yes...........Watkins Glen does the lapping() on opening day, most times it is nice out, so A great time forsure.

Only problem is it is done @ street speeds, and if you try to "bend" the rule they invite you to leave. Still a good time!
