I couldn't find the krud kutter graffiti remover unless I ordered it and have it shipped so while I was at home depot I picked up Motsenbockers Lift Off graffiti remover.

GM could save us all a lot of trouble by selling these in OEM colors or clear like this. That would awesome.

Well, I don't know what went wrong but this certainly didn't come out like I was expecting.

Not sure if anyone looking to do this is interested in picking up door insert to try this insert painting on, but I've got an drivers side ABL panel from a 45th anniversary edition that would work perfect for this. I'd probably go for it myself but the factory silver panels are going to look best for me in how my interior is going to be done.

I've started to strip my driver's side panel.

I used dot 3 brake fluid because all the graffiti remover compounds I can find here in Canada is either a paste tub or aerosol can.

I also neglected to take the trim panel out of the door panel. (Hoping I can also paint it without taking it off)

So far so good but won't be able to really tell until I get a good layer of SGM painted on it.

Keep us updated man on how the brake fluid works. Looks pretty clear, such a weird looking picture haha

Might be cool to just leave em clear and have the abl make the whole panel glow
