Turbo is not "FREE" horsepower. It is taking power to turn becuase its a restriction in the exaust. Like adding 6 more mufflers.

Yes its takes away MUCH LESS power than a blower but its not 100% free.

In drag racing at the 3000 HP level a roots blower takes around 600 HP to turn.

A centrifugal blower takes around 300 HP to turn.

I would venture to say that a turbo takes about 150 HP to turn.

Just some food for thought. NOTHING is FREE

By the way. If I wasn't bent on having that Procharger sound in my car I would be getting turboed2000 to build me a kit

Awesome job. Did you ever get that dyno sheet to post up? I'm interested to see how your setup with a larger cid and less boost compares to mine with smaller cid and more boost.

very nice work! what did you do for manifolds? they dont appear stock from the pics... i would like to do something similar on my g8 only a little less extreme (550ish rwhp) please dont bash me for not having a camaro, but i dont believe there is any single turbo g8s which is what led me here
