Heard they cost 700 to replace 1 freaking halo. I don't turn mine on during the day, but I'll turn em on during dawn or dusk. They look sick with my 8000k DRL's

I can turn my Halos on or off as needed. I had custom orange halos installed as well as fog light lights , side markers and side vents. Check out Toymotorsports in Marlborough. My car is in the gallery on their website. These are awesome

The LED for the HALO can be changed out so I don't worry too much about it.

Do you know how much it costs though?

And I am going to add colorshift halos soon. They look so sick!

The LEDs RGB are less than $20 The controllers are the pricey part.

Plain white will be cheaper

I'm just curious as to how much 1 of the factory LEDs cost in case one goes out.

I didn't realize there was such a harness. I have the gen5diy drl harness but that keeps the drl's on when the headlights turn on. There is a harness that has the halos on whenever the drl's are on?Name: uploadfromtaptalk1403405267224.jpg

Same with me. Although I might turn them on before it gets to dark.
One day I'll get a harness to have drl & halos on @ the same time, they do look cool.

ignore me, I found it. Damn it I want it. electrical mods, especially those including changes in the fuse box always make me nervous. how many of you guys have the harness? any issues?

I don't think you can get the LED from a dealer, they would make you buy the whole headlight.
one of the LED gurus like Joe from NightOwl can probably tell you the Wattage and color and you could get the OEM equivalent from one of the LED suppliers on the web.
but like I said the LED itself is pretty cheap.
If you ever did try to change a factory white LED I would change both unless you found out the exact color

I'm definitely going to change both at once when the time comes. I plan to get the nightowl kit, but don't know how to install it myself...
