Front License Plates

Just thought I would drop in today to see what people think of front license plates. I am from RI where we require them to be displayed. I don't like the look of them on this car so I choose not to have one. What do others think about this? Good idea bad idea?

I am waiting to be stopped and forced to put on a front plate by the cops before I will actually do it.

I have mine on. The dealer asked me and I told them to put it on. Would rather not have to worry about getting pulled over for something so trivial.

Hell no. I live in Ohio which you need a front one on, but I put mine inside of front windshield with suction cups. And if any coppers ask me, I tell them I have no brackets because my car was brought in from out of state (which is true). Screw that. Id rather get a ticket and pay it than ruin my look.

I ran my car most of the summer without and decided to put one on. I just didn't want to pay the price and embarrasment of being pulled over. Anyhow, I searched for the right product and ended up with this. It doesn't mess up the front end of the car and looks decent.

In New Hampshire, the front plate is required and I didn't want to risk getting pulled over, so I bought an awesome one from JacFab that mounts lower than the factory plate holder and uses existing bolts, so no drilling through the front bumper is needed. It's powder coated and very solid!

I've never run a front plate on any of my sport cars. Wouldn't drill the bumper on the 2011.
