I have a question about "pay310" and invoice pricing, please.

OK, I've ordered my car twice in the last 12 months, cancelled once because the dealer wouldn't honor the price, and once because another dealer didn't have allocation after insisting he did. I decided I'd wait till spring and see if prices eased, since one of my local dealers is still charging 5K over MSRP today. Then, I decided to wait to see what the 2011s price was. So, I'm looking around at dealer stock within 300 miles and I found my exact car on a lot, which I have never seen, a 2010 at MSRP. We emailed back and forth and he was real anxious to sell it, so I told him I wouldn't negotiate, but he could send me his best price and I'd consider it. He gave me 500 over invoice/"pay310"(35372.13), which is 35872.13. Supplier price currently shows 35762.00.
Now, the MSRP has gone up a bit since production began, for parking assist, DFC, paint, etc., but only 645 total. Based on the wiki pricing for start of production I guessed invoice to be around 33700 to 33850, not 35400. At most I figure invoice to be 34000. What am I missing here? I was hoping to get down more around 34000 to 34500 to make me pass on 2011/HUD. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

That invoice price seems REALLY low... I'm confused too now... I thought supplier/preferred price was below invoice???

2011 base price on a 2SS is $34,295.00 + $850 DFC


The invoice doesn't lie..... Preferred or invoice line 310 is a good price... then subract $1000 if you have a 99 or newer pontiac or saturn at your house.

Well, Scotty just told you that the invoice doesn't lie. Why are you still questioning that price? It is what it is. Take the deal, it's a good price.

Scotty, could you PM me a price for 2011 for that car,(2SS/RS/RJT/Black/manual/polished 20's) and an idea of what it would cost to have it delivered, not a drop ship?

I Live in N California. I talked to you once before but at that time I thought you were only doing drop ships.
