Craaaappppp can't believe I just did this!

So I am getting ready to wash my car an I always flip my wipers up first then wash. Well today I flipped wipers up washed bugs off front of the car then thought well while I'm at it ill take my engine and fuse cover off and get them cleaned up and drop them off tomorrow to be dipped/painted. I'm sure y'all know where this is going.
So I am raising hood an hear this scratching noise and I'm till I see my wiper fall back in place and I it made some small scratches on the edge of hood :(

I remembering reading on here about someone who did the same thing and I was thinking to myself at the time how in the world do you not see your wipers up before you lift your hood? Well it happens people!

I've done it. I didn't get it quite as bad as yours, but still. I've been there.

Happens to the best of us. Don't sweat it.

Ouch sorry to hear that! I've done it twice, first time no damage was done, second time chipped my hood :( you can't see it unless you're looking for it. But still sucks.
