Attaching the front plate securely with...
I've seen threads on here using complex looking bolt and latch systems, but i kind of want to use some 3m heavy duty double sided tape. However I'm not sure how secure it would hold and worried it mit fall off. Any suggestions? or something super easy and effective/sucure.

Check out this easy mounting method using the supplied front plate holder...
(Thanks to Zombie eats U) Pretty easy. Flipped the holder upside down, that lets the V shape fit nicely along the bottom facia and the "teeth" of the (now) top of the holder fit onto one of the grill crossbars. Then linked zip-ties together through the one of the deep-bottomed mounting holes, through the grill, up though the other mounting holes and to the first zip-tie. Took four ties altogether. I'm thinking of taking it apart and doing some step by step pictures if there's enough interest. Let me know if those instructions make sense. |
