OK... let me clarify then. What I call drone is when you are cruising at a "constant" rpm... and you can hear your exhaust system. The slightest hum what so ever is what I consider drone.

When I accelerate it gets freakin loud mainly because I have LTs on. I have even put my car in tap shift mode and held RPMs constant at all different levels and do not get any drone.

Now I didn't say Corsa was the best sounding system, but IMHO it certainly doesn't drone what so ever...

Damn Mike,

You stumbled into the V6 section. I'd love to have my V6 sound like your V8 with Corsa, but that aint gonna happen.

Funny you should mention Drone. I just got the Solo v6 cat backs put on. Way to much drone for me and still a little too ricey. I have come to the conclusion that there's no way to make this engine sound er...good. I'd rather sound "real."
Solo's people are fantastic and it was a valiant try - they make what I think is a great sounding product - it's just not for me. Hope they will take 'em back.

Agreed, ive had nothing but v8 trucks in the past, last having a 5.7 HEMi with a borla muffler, It sounded great, i know this car isnt gonna sound nothing like it, so why bother.

I think any muffler system over $500.00 is overpriced.

But then again I'm fairly thrifty.
x2, lke said above, ive had nothing but v8 trucks, and i paid like 150 installed for muffler on them. I had a borla pro xs on my 05 hemi ram, it sounded better than any other magnaflow, flowmaster, i ever had on it, or other trucks.

oyeah, i like the peace and quiet to, it has a nice enough sound stock for me. Others have said, louder the better...i find that true on a big v8, but on a 6..not so much.
