My exhaust is pretty straight through and does not sound like glasspacks at all.

2011 5.0 Stang
I just spoke with my cousin who said he raced a stock 5.0 tonight and the stang went 12.3x, still had the paper temp tag on it. He claims it was stock, no loud exhaust, no S/C whine, no cam, nothing. Wednesday night he saw the same thing out of a 5.0. The car could have been tuned but that still would be a great time. Not sure what to take from this, but if its true the 5.0 sure is a beast!

I have seen the new 5.0's running low 13's, definitely have not seen a stock one run low 12's.

No vids or pics. It was at No Problem Raceway in Donaldsonville, LA. I know he wasnt shooting me any bull when he told me this. He just thought it was a little fast himself.

Drag radials or stock rubber?
I have a tough time believing 12.3 on a stock 5.0. Maybe I'm wrong... but I struggle with it.

Dont know anymore details as I am stuck at work right now and couldnt make it to the track. I definately have a tough time believing this, thats why I wanted to know what you guys have seen. I have not been out to the track since mid summer when it was 90 degrees at 10 o'clock at night. Sure wish I could have been there tonight. BTW I was just on some Mustang forum looking around, allfordmustang.com I think. Man they are totally bashing the SS and are acting like the 5.0 is God's gift to the auto industry. Just thought I would share that.

I believe it. The GT should be a little quicker than the Terminator, which has a glory pass of 12.4, making 12.3 to be believable; I've said since the beginning it should hit a 12.3 and that's it.
