Dealer told me a CAI does not void your warranty. You might also wanna look into that case about vehicle warranty regarding modifications...can't recall the exact case...

I got the K&N aircharger and it really sucks in the air, the only problem is that you will want the American Thunder flowmasters to open up the back end. I did both and my service manager said both will not void warranty. Performance and sound is awesome, not the same quiet Camaro you bought.

The stock air intakes have the big boxes extending off which are for sound cancellation. The cold air intakes don't have that, so you actually hear it.

I have the CAI Inc. cold air intake on mine and I love it.

Dumb question??? It's necesary disconect the battery after install intake to make the car computer reprogram? It say that on the install info...

Disconnecting the battery cable forces the PCM to immediately relearn the fuel trims when you reconnect and start the car. If you don't disconnect the cable, it will take a little longer for the PCM to learn the fuel trims but it'll eventually learn them.
