No the worst is when the dealership calls to ask if you were planning to pickup your car today, only to find out that it isn't in yet.

I don't know how I'm gonna make it until September JUST to order it. Then months of waiting for it to come in. Uggh, it's gonna be the end of me. Hopefully there still won't be any other kids getting it where I live. I wanna be the first on the block.

Couple that with the fact their closed this week and last thing i was told was its in QC and wont know anything until Monday. I am going to need a prescription to get through the weekend

The wait has been pure torture, especially since I got the VIN#. Everyone asks me constantly if my car has come in yet. Three weeks since it's been built and no car and my salesman doesn't want to check on it for me.

I am really afraid that after I get the car the stress will be worse because I'm getting the feeling that my husband it going to want to drive MY new car all the time and the fight will be on.

That's just what I did...I ordered mine on 1/2/09 and told NO ONE, not even my family until my dealer/friend called me on 5/18 to say it was just delivered...

We live in NY, but ordered our car from a dealer/friend in Virginia...I used to work with him many years ago in NY, and we had just re-connected on Classmates.com in November of 2008...

We took Amtrak to Virginia the next day, 5/19 to pick it up!!!...

The main reason I told no one was because I didn't want to "jinx it"...I was soooooooooooo afraid that I would never actually be lucky enough to own and drive this car...

I still have to "pinch" myself every day because I can't believe I own the most AMAZING CAR EVER BUILT!!!!!!!!!!...

Thank you GM and Oshawa for making my dreams come true every single time I drive my Camaro!!!...

its worth the wait . ordered on 2/1 deliverd on 6/1 and now I am on a 2 month road trip accross the country with it.

And you better hope it doesn't sit in QC for as long as some of ours did. Ordered 10/13/08. Took delivery 6/9/09. It was well worth the wait.
