A question for those who have their VIN #'s - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

How long does it take for your VIN# to appear on Spastic ? Let's say your dealer gave you your VIN# how much of a lag before it appears on Spastic.

Well, 20856 was found on the squirrel today and we know that cars in the 22000 range were rolling down the line today. That doesn't exactly answer your question, but you can get some idea when you start seeing 22000 cars appear. If I remember correctly, about 400 cars popped up on the squirrel today.

Took mine only a few days to show up...seems like it was right after my dealer got the invoice

Took mine about a week to show up. As far as I know, it's when the car is when the car is cleared to ship.

I found my VIN on http://camaro.spasticsquirrel.com before my dealer told me so I gave them the VIN to confirm the car was mine or not.

mine went to 3800 on monday and is invoiced and still dont see it on squirrel

I'm not on squirrel yet, but my dealer says I shipped yesterday.

So if it is not on squirrel is it safe to assume that it may have been bayed and sent to QC?

I found out my VIN on Thursday and it was on the database Saturday.

I got my VIN on Friday (built on Thursday), and it finally showed up on the site today. Also, today my dealer said my car shows shipped as of yesterday, so I wonder if it is officially registered on the site once it gets shipped...? That question may have been covered in UCF w00t's thread, but I don't feel like searching through that massive thing

EDIT: Oh, yep, I see he just mentioned that above... I didn't read through the thread before I posted

May have, yes. But not safe to assume.

For example, mine went to QC for a bit before it showed up. But I'm sure there's some that took a bit for some other reason.
