My car is scheduled to be built next week. if it's built by mid week, Wed/Thurs the 15/16, how long do you guys think it will take to be delivered to NY, 20 miles north of manhattan. My dealer says he thinks it will be mid August... I was thinking more like end of July first week in August at the latest. Any thoughts?

Based on what we are currently seeing, I think mid-August is probably more realistic. People were seeing 2 weeks from the issuing of the VIN, but lately there have been some slow downs.

But isn't the VIN issued when the car hits 3800(built)? If that's middle of next week, wouldnt a 2 week delivery put me at end of July?

I live in Mass. My car was built on 6/18, shipped on 6/22 and I took delivery on 7/1. It was 9 days for me from the day it left Oshawa until I took delivery.

Did you have a TPW given to you?

Im in the same boat just the difference is I live along way from you down here in Alabama?? so I was wondering how long it will take to get down here!! lol?? my dealer has been getting them within a 2-3 week time frame after the cars are produced so...... Idk I am looking towards a last week of July or first week of August if everything runs smoothly??.. But Idk!! cause it only takes 2-5 days on the rail car then it has a maxium stay at the truck yard of 10 days!?? and yard is only about 3 and a half hours from me so.....>???

But anyways Maybe mine and yours will be line buddies lol!! yeah we need to stay in touch to see if we were built on the sameday and compare our VIN's!!

I am assuming St Louis takes delivery by rail as well... seems like the rail transport is slowed down by the rail yard.

The cars leave on a train from Oshawa to go to any city regardless!!??....

I have the same TPW. Dealer told me based on other deliveries to expect about 2-3 weeks for deliveries.

Dealership is in eastern PA just across the border from NJ.

I think you'll see it on or before the first week of August at the latest depending on when during next week it's built.

Mine was built on 7/1 and the dealer called me on Monday and said it would be here between 7/8 & 7/22.......ordered on 5/12/09
