Dangeruss, that is pretty much the exact set up I want build, but with an angled forward grip. That looks sick.... and I love the American flag on the inside of the dust cover.

Hmmm I'm considering trying to grab an AR-15, I have guns, just not a semi-automatic like an AR, just hunting rifles and shotguns. I've seen some really awesome collections so far, so many options, is there any certain brand of AR that I really need to avoid, I'm not looking at for a high dollar since this is first one.

Everyone - I just received an email from the NRA looking for year end donations. With all that is happening in Washington (Obama & Feinstein) I suggest everyone just click here and give a small amount. I gave $100, but they have a $10 level as well.

We can write all the letters we want to Congress, but the lobbyists are what protect our rights. The NRA needs our help, so please join me in donating. If you donate, please proudly post that you have done so. Not the amount, just your support.

Thanks. I'd pretty much decided on the POF a while back, but pulled the trigger (pardon the pun) at the beginning of the hype when I could still get a decent deal. The American flag is standard from POF, but I know you can buy them aftermarket. I've also seen one that says Infidel.

It's about time to organize the militia..... not the National Guard, ... this one:

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed

Great for you! Welcome to the club.

On another note, I went to Academy today and they are picked CLEAN. However I have been wanting a 1911 and the truck had just showed up with a Remington R1 1911 Enhanced. I jumped on it and am now the proud owner it.
