Arrow 1LE Delivery Day Checklist

This will be the third Camaro I have had in the last 18 months. I have learned a lot from this site and from first hand experience. So after I have made sure the dealership does NOT wash the car or fill it up with 87 octane...

I am going to install the catch can, a designated clutch reservoir and do a quick brake fluid flush. Can't forget the all important fuse pull. Then I am going to begin the break in.

The delivery day will end with me going all Junkman on itz ass.

Day two I hope to be able to start turning some wrenches.

Not following the fuse issue. Break in tips are really interesting. Watching junk man videos now. Like his energy.

The fuse issue is basically this. If there is low octane fuel used the car the computer will switch to a different programming which causes reduced performance. The only way to get the car to switch back to the higher octane or optimal performance programming is to do what is affectionately called a "fuse pull" around here.

The fuse pull resets the computer, which will begin to relearn as you drive.

I thought the fuse pull was only necessary for the L99.

For both versions of the engine and also the zl1 guys are benefiting from it as well.

It is number 5 and 20 on my 2011 LS3. I leave them out over night.

I read through your thread about the water problems with your convertible. I'm glad things worked out for you and you are going to receive a 1LE. I don't think I'd wish what you went through on my worst enemy!!! Definitely post pics when you have it home.

I think you need to repeat the part about them not touching the paint. I have a strange feeling that some high school hack can't wait to jack up your new paint job.
