Seibon carbon fiber for 5th gen camaro

Did you guys see seibon just released a whole line of carbon fiber hoods and a trunk for the 5th gen camaro? What do you think? msrp is like $1200+. Do you think its worth it? Supposed to be one of the best mods for the camaro according to GM at SEMA this year.

I wonder if they make it with the added yellow look instead of the gray.

You could spray a yellow pearl probably. I've seen that done before

I think it is very worthwhile,t to drop weight off the car, and price is not bad

I wonder what the weight savings is. I'd say the vented hoods would be worth it for me to lower the intake temps.

I don't suppose they're making a carbon fiber hood with a functional air scoop? Someone the other day was showing off their new hood where the scoop directed air straight to the air filter box, and if I could get that in real carbon fiber I'd be really interested.

I know they have a couple of vented hoods that are functional but I don't know where the air ends up. I'd be interested in knowing that too.

Those are strange side vents. Look kind of like interior a/c louvers. Not a negative, just a different preference. Lots of different designs out there.

I really like the Seibon hood with the cowl raised one more inch and the functional louvers down the sides. This helps considerably with heat and noticeable HP on street driven TT applications.

I could do without the side vents on that hood by IPP.

As far as the carbon fiber hood.... It doesn't do anything for me

The IPP hood design is very cool... except for those god awful side vents.
