Cruzin' the Coast 2012
Am I the only ZL 1 at the Cruzin' the Coast event now in full swing on the Mississippi Gulf Coast? We have somewhere in the neighbor hood of 6000 preregistered cars according to the media. We're having absolutely bitchin' sunny weather with lows in the 50's and daytime highs in the mid 70's. If you are within driving distance come on down.

We'll be arriving on Thursday night I'm driving my 2010 Rally Yellow and my wife will be in her Summit White ZL1. Our club (Cajun Camaro Club) is arriving around 11:30 on Friday. We're meeting at Shaggy's in Pass Christian for lunch if you want to meet up with us

I'll be checking out the show at D'Iberville's automall parkway on Friday and plan to find a spot on Hyway 90 saturday evening to sit back at watch. Are you participating in the event or just observing? Would love to meet up somewhere and check out that ZL1 !!

I saw a grey ZL1 at Edgewater Mall on Sunday and passed a Black one "probably you" on 90 a couple of times.

Hope you can make it next year Mike. We stay at the IP they have covered parking and a guard on duty for participants and cruisers. This will be the 4th year with the 2010.

I was there Sunday and Monday and saw a few 5th Gens but only 3 ZL1s. I'm a Chevelle SS guy and saw some really nice ones. I saw a 1968 SS496 Camaro that's new to me because I don't remember a 496 in 1968. I go every year that my work schedule will allow. It's a great place for car guys.

I believe that we'll have over 40 5th Gens from our club there. We're taking both Camaro's so it'll be interesting
