My brother in law and I install the GFX in about 2.5 hours and that was without reading the instructions completely ahead of time. It's not that difficult, but a second set of hands would be very helpful in handling these long and flimsy plastic pieces. The dealer wanted way too much to paint and install.

A friend and I installed mine in about 3 hours, if you know your way around cars and aren't afraid to pick up an air ratchet, it's not that bad. You'll need a regular and plastic rivet gun handy too...

Good question, whenever I have installed plastic rivets I had the "other gun" handy, so I guess it's worth a try if it saves some guys $$

the oem ground effects are suppose to hang the same way the stock rocker does. it should snap into place.

just follow the instructions and clean the surfaces well. And what all said here is correct, you need some basic mechanical skills, hand tools and a friend's hands. The only caution is be careful to layout the location for the few holes you must drill in the front lip (for rivets) as a mistake would be a costly problem. Go for it!

2 - I have a little gap that is in the middle of the front lip. . i guess everyone has it. . not sure though.
