Yep. It's a very simple set up. Easy to do and awesome feature.....it's called HomeLink.

There are 3 prgrammable buttons for up to 3 garage doors. I use it every day.

read the owners manual about the set up and you'll have it programmed in less than 3 minutes.

Yeah, the dealer made me think you pressed the button in the actual garage door unit on the ceiling, so I got a ladder, pushed the button up there, ran to the car and pressed that button. After a few tries, I finally read the manual, and you just get your garage door opener remote, hold it next to the buttons in the car, press the button, then hold the button in the car down, and she's set.

Read the manual though for proper instructions though. Really cool feature.

Yep I programmed it in. I use it half the time and figure it is a good back up when the battery dies in my garage door opener.

You know, that would be pretty funny. Most complex's charge extra for a gate opener as opposed to just having a key code or entry gate card, so, get the gate opener, program the homelink in the camaro, and then return the gate opener and say you don't want to pay extra just for a stupid gate opener.

The dealer was right, most of the new openers are like that because they change frequency every time you use the remote.

I just had my garage door opener installed last year, and I tried it a million times, and finally just used the remote. Maybe I parked too far away because I didn't want to fall off the ladder onto the car, haha.

Hmm, wonder if this is something that could be added easily, apartment complex wants $50 for a second remote anyway...

Any chance someone could snap a pict of that area? Anything else up there besides the garage homelink?

i programmed mine for my gate around the driveway. I wouldn't think the commercial ones would be any different.
