Smart man right here. Please post up the ease of install and take some good pics of the headers and collector so everyone can see how well they're constructed. Congrats on the upgrade. You'll be quite happy.

I'll be sure to post pics of the install once I can get it done

Any recommendations for a future tune? I'm thinking about shooting PCM of NC an email and ordering a mail order tune from them since all they do is LSX stuff here locally

GPI, Jannetty racing hell, even the tune from SCT on the X4 works quite well. That's what I ran and my results speak for themselves. I was going to get the car dyno and road tuned, but had to sell it after getting laid off so I never got around to it. Just make sure if you buy a X4, I'd look for a used one to save coin (not like they wear out) and have the seller send you a pic of it being un-married. Then you can get a custom tune by any shop that uses SCT software. Oh, make sure you hook it up to your laptop to update it first. Follow the directions on SCT's website. The built-in WiFi is terribly slow.

I opted for the speed engineering connection pipes, I'm not actually sure if they're suppose to be cats but they look like them LOL

Actually now I have to ask, are the connection pipes high flows?

I mean it's no big deal if they're not but they look like cats to me?

That is why I was asking, they do not come with HF Cats if I remember correctly. I am sure you can pick a set up though to fit on there. Do you need cats where you are?

I technically do but I've been going to a guy locally who just reads the OBDII

My dad has given him lots of business over the last couple of years so he doesn't ask many questions about our cars. I'm planning on tuning after I install anyways so the CEL will go away

Sounds like a plan. Good luck with your install.

I have their X Pipe 2.75". This is true but it does not leak. I wish they have kept their stainless 2.75" X pipe. Speed Engineering long tubes really impressed me. If I had no headers I would get those.
