I think you were the perfect person for this build! Your job has you breaking tons of new ground and this Camaro absolutely does that. The rest of us would have lost our mind, but you have been able to handle the snags and hangups that brand new tech can bring with it.

I am pretty excited that all of the computers now play fair with each other. On a separate topic, I took my two kids to the Gatornationals for the first time and they flipped out when they saw Top Fuel and Funny Car run. They said "why can't the Camaro or Firebird go that fast?" To which I responded - not even off a cliff... |

Hey grats Bruce getting so close. So all you need now is the tranny tuned?
cant wait to see this monster breathe! And guess what, they have a 2012 white SS there now which is getting somewhat the same setup as you dont know if the same or in the same power range but, your passing the patience torch to another fellow Camaro owner. Wonder if hes on the forums?

I know what you mean about the top fuel cars! Absolutely amazing what they can achieve with nitro. Had a buddy that wore a shirt saying "Alcohol is for drinking, gasoline is for washing parts, Nitro is for racing!

Would love to run the SST on small %of it, but don't want to toast it. Nitro is wild to work with. We used to mix it with xxxxxx to make explosives. With a certain mixture we could have something the size of a test tube blow a 3 foot hole in the ground. |

When I was a kid we would run glow engines on nitro-methane fuels. Typically low percentage stuff around 10% mixed with castor oil. When our budget would allow we would pick up a bottle of 15 or 25 percent just to see what our little engines could do. I still like the smell. Some of those model engines would turn up to 30,000 RPM and shoot blue flame out the exhaust! OK, enough of my thread jacking trip down memory lane. Your whole fan club is really looking forward to seeing the SST put some black marks down!
