Well, I found out the hard way too. I was doing my tuner and ....... yup. ..... Old Faithful would have been proud. hahahaha

GTAHVIT was on the phone with me and I started to smell gas. lol

I can not be absolutely possitive my stock tune in the CST is the Maggie tune. So I skipped it in the beggining. No biggie as long as I get in in the car before I start it.

I was putting the stock tune in but after choosing Automatic Transmition, and Skip Settings, I got the option for Camaro Automatic, or GXP Automatic.

Since I couldn't be possitive it is in fact a MagnaCharger Tune, I gotta e-mail it to Jessika to make sure.

Of course I have a driver problem with my tuner and PC. I'm working on that now. Ugh............ what a pain.

I got with Tim today. He's gonna send me the fuel line. All I gotta have is my tune straight.

But I can't get my PC to recognize the tuner. Grrrrrrrrrrr.....................

SCT tuners SUCK.

Their website sucks equally. I found the 'Solution' but it doesn't tell you what to do if it doesn't work. It can't find the drivers. This happens EVERY time I plug it in. And I can't remember how I got it last time.

I need to get it off here to send to Magnuson to verify.

The instructions say to do the tune before anything else. That intake really looks good in there. Now your engine bay will look as good as the rest of your car.

I know. But I can't be sure the stock tune is a Magnuson tune. It's supposed to be, but I bought the tuner a long time ago for my headers. It's supposedly has the right tune in it. And there is like a 99 percent chance it is, but I want to make sure.

Did yours have a GXP tune in it also?

I didn't put it in the biggining because I hadn't made sure yet. I figured it would be easy and quick, and it would but my tuner isnt' syncing with my computer.

They want the tune put in first so some dummy don't forget to do it afterward and start the car and drive it.

I did my own maggie install as well, also with a fastlane CAI and did the same thing (cut off the bracket). It's been that way for 6+ months without issue and is very solid without it.

Cool. Ya, I talked to Tim (T&T) earlier and he said it's the way his shop has done them. Been no issues. So I'm cool.

Did you have a stock MagnaCharger tune in yours for a GXP too?

Sounds like we got our tuners about the same time. After I select Automatic Camaro, and then Skip Options, it asks for me to choose GXP Auto or Camaro Auto. Sound normal.

a camaro is just a 2 door GXP, isn't it?
I'm glad you waited for the right fuel line!
I'll talk to the tuner when I get to work and let you know about the options in the sct.

What was the other part you needed?

Oh. I wish I did... I used to sleep like 12 hours a night. But between nighttime bathroom trips, Charlie horses and dog farts, all night sleep is a thing of the past.

If your PC won't load the driver for your tuner, then delete the old driver. Then, plug it in again and the computer will automatically reinstall the driver. This procedure often fixes this kind of issue.

Cool. That's the thig that has me leary of it. I got all the way to that point but the GXP thing freaked me out. If they say that's normal, I'm good. Thanks.

I did that. It won't find the drivers, and the SCT website is no help at all.
