Question about tire size

Hi fellow 1le's.

I received some tires by mistake last time for one of the other cars.

Wondering if I could fit the 285 /30R20 on the 1le rear rims?

or should i stick to the 35R20?

The 11 inch wide wheel is pretty wide for a 30 series 285 tire. The 35 series has enough side wall height to stretch, but not sure if the 30 series does. Tire Rack says max wheel width is 10.5 inches for the 285/30-20s that I looked at.

As mentioned above....You would be OK on the front, but I don't recommend it on the rear.

FYI:
285/35/20 = 27.85" (stock tire)
285/30/20 = 26.73" (your other tires)

Your car will be lower by just over 1/2"

Further info. First number in tire size is the width of the tread in mm. Second number is the height of the sidewall as a percentage of the width (35% x 285mm). So the difference between a 35 and a 30 sidewall is about 14% shorter (14.25mm).
