not even close to low 4s 0-60. you think it would be, most are right at 5 seconds, some are as fast as 4.7

What sort of times is the srt hellcat version / track cat supposed to turn?? This would be an interesting ride for sure, but what would the ADM be??

I couldn't give up the ZL1...I would pick up a good used Tahoe or the like. I sold my 99 Tahoe with the 350 with only 175k miles for only $5k & wish I had saved it for the ranch ride.

We have an 82 full size J10 Jeep/Truck we use for tooling around but been modified for hunting & no front wind shied so you can shoot out the front & that gets old when it's dusty. I use my 3/4 company truck to get around more than the jeep. That ole tahoe was solid & better for the application.

Just saying I agree with the others about a good solid beater for the off season vs ridding the Z.

They run mid 13s which is pretty quick. And they have a nice rumble. I would still take a X5M or X6M over the SRT Jeep. Those have the twin turbo V8s making 555 hp and run 12s!!

I have owned 2 WK1 Jeep SRT8 and a 2014 Silver SRT

PM me with any questions. Other than MPG, very few disappointments to be had.

Just not sure if I'll regret doing it. Anyone here have personal exp in a Jeep SRT that can provide their thoughts?

Thanks,
he is not even thinking about doing this its all fabricated for attention

I have an AFE CAI- dats it..runs mid 4's all day, everyday. Not sure what we are debating anymore. Baskin n Robbins makes 32 flavors for a reason- to each their own...Love how the put down -ers of the srt have never driven one, let alone owned one.

2 different cars- if you can, enjoy em both.

I thought the HC / track cat version had the 700hp SC engine...I would have thought it would take the X's??

No, not fabricated at all. I am seriously thinking about it. I know my Z is quick as shit. But I don't track it, I mainly use it as a DD. So I am never using it to its full potential. So the performance difference, while there, may not be as huge a deal if I'm not using the current car to the full tilt all the time.

Now I know they will feel like completely different vehicles, no doubt there. I posted in the hopes of getting exactly what I did. Feedback from previous owners. I've read a ton of the reviews from the typical mags and on YouTube. They all seem to like the SRT.

I would much rather move right over to a TrackHawk since they are pushing 700HP and 0-60 in 3.5 (not independently confirmed yet) but I have a feeling those are going to be untouchable for a while.

As some have suggested, I'm going to drive one and see if the difference is enough that it makes up my mind right away. I've also considered the beater route, but if I'm paying for a car, I'd really rather be driving it, than it sitting for the weekend.

Thanks to everyone that provided feedback. I do appreciate it.

William

Thanks !

It didn't look like that when I bought it. I modded it from stock.
