Any ATL folks driving down on Sunday? If so, what time are you leaving? (don't forget we are going to central time)

Tip #1 follow the paved road, don't go off the track
Tip #2 They will tell you at the track, this is not a race, there are no prizes for 1st place.
Tip #3 always look ahead
Tip # 4 try to find a car with same the set-up as you, that has been on a track before, and try to follow there lines on the track.
There will be plenty of MTI guys there to help you out, they could ride with you. Reese will give all of us a good lesson on how to drive the track.
Tip # 5 this is not a race....Just have FUN and be safe

I am wondering if anyone headed to the event can help me out. I'm bringing my son and he needs a helmet, may be the only time he uses one so if I can avoid buying one that would be great. Anyone out there who is going willing to loan me a helmet while you aren't using it. Need an XL though.

Thanks!

Memphis,
If your son takes the same size helmet as you, he can ride with any driver as a passenger. This would also give him more passenger time on track.
You guys can pass the helmet back and forth, if you need to.

Otherwise, we have affordable helmets for sale, but you need to call me by Wed noon at the latest.

It will take less than an hour to get there with the time change (eastern to central). I would rather head down Saturday, but I am going to a football game in the afternoon. Not sure what time it will wrap up. If I get out in time, I will be down Saturday night.
